“I have a dream….”
This week we observed Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
He had a dream…“I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
I don’t believe we are there yet. Progress has been made, but we still have a long way to go!
What is your dream? Do you even have one anymore? Have you given up on it? Do you notice where you water it down and put it “out there some day?” How does it feel to forget about your dream? How would it feel to think about it daily?

Sometimes I just go through my day without thinking
I forget that I have a dream board, a vision for my future
I go through the motions on autopilot, not stopping to think
I have to remind myself to stop, take a break and visit it
Not only visit it, but visualize it as already being here
I stop and look at my dream board and feel it
I like when I take time to just “be” and not “do”
I like when I stop during my day and remember to do this
It feels like calm and peace when I take the time
I’m going to set reminders throughout my day to do this
It’s easy to get reminded to stop, breathe and imagine
It feels good
It feels like peace
It feels like calm
It feels like JOY
Yes, I like this feeling.
I like feeling peace, calm and JOY
You can’t put a price on it.
It’s priceless.
I’m worth taking the time for my dream.
I am worth it.
I am believing it.
